Private Sessions Group Classes Workshops
The holistic practices of Acupressure, Yoga, Acu~Yoga and Guided Imagery are integrated into private sessions and group classes to address and offer relief from many stress-related health concerns such as: Anxiety, Arthritis, Back Pain, Carpel Tunnel Syndrome, Depression, Digestive Distress, Fatigue, Headaches, Insomnia, and Neck and Shoulder Tension.
Acupressure
Acupressure works by rebalancing energy (chi) that flows in pathways (meridians) through the body by applying pressure to potent points on the surface of the skin that collect and store tension. When these points surrender and open to the flow of energy, the result is a release of stress, tension and pain and a renewed balance to mind, body and emotions.
Yoga
Hatha Yoga similarly provides harmony to the body through movement and the breath. The practice of yoga tones the body through movement and postures (asanas) while consciously using the breath (pranayama) to balance the vital energy centers (chakras) in the body.
Acu~Yoga is a gentle movement practice that combines the ancient therapies of acupressure and yoga. Each Acu~Yoga session includes yoga postures and acupressure to release tension, increase flexibility and encourage the body to deeply relax.
Guided Imagery
Guided Imagery is a technique using suggestions that guide your imagination toward a relaxed, focused state. It’s based on the concept that your body and mind are connected. Using all of your senses, your body begins to respond as though what you are imagining is real. When practiced regularly, guided imagery can help relieve stress, improve your mood, and may even reduce pain or improve your health.
